Electronic warfare LIve Training Exercise.
From 21st June to 3rd July 2010 in the southern Germany it has been held a major command exercises organized by the Cologne-Wahn German Air Force command in order to train pilots of the participating nations to operate in heavily defended areas, saturated with threat. Like in the 2008 the Luftwaffe organized an amazing SpotterDay which allow the spotters to stay at just 30m from the main Runway seeing the flying activity.The 2010 Elite Edition was sadly the last one to be held due to the budged cuts on the Luftwaffe hitting hard the JBG 32. In fact in March 2013 the wing was closed and the aircrafts are now flying with the AG51 "Immelman" at the Schleswig-Jagel airport in the north of the Germany. Said so we still enjoined that year edition with a lot of movements and also some premiere at the ELITE. Unlike the 2008 Edition there wasn't any italian partecipation, they were replaced by RAF Tornados coming from RAF Marham base, Norfolk (UK). Another change came in the sound of two Pratt and Whitney F-100-229 belonging to the Sily Powietrzne F-16 Bk52+ coming from the Lask replacing the old fashioned Sukhoi's SU-22. There they operates under 32. Baza Lotnictwa Taktycznego (32.BLT) command as 10. Eskadra Lotnictwa Taktycznego (10.elt). Finally the Turkish deployement instead of 3+3 team (F-16 and F-4) came in with 5 roaring oldies F-4E-2020 Terminator of the 171 Filo (7nci AJU) "Korsan" based at Malatya/Erhac. On Lechfeld AB there was also three Spanish EF-18M, and two Royal Norvegian Air Force Falcon 20ECM and Tornados from all the Luftwaffe. At the close Neuborg airfield there were 5 Swiss Hornet and three Wittmund JG71 Phantom.
